Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and model who is now a retired actor. Elson was born in the United States and began the acting profession as a a young model/actress and then as professional actress, is best known for the role as Alice Tyler as seen on the science-fiction drama show on CBS. Andrea was a candidate as the lead actress in ALF the smash 1986 show. She won. Andrea continued working for many years on various successful TV shows and Movies of the Week before leaving the entertainment business in order to spend time with her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner her teenager daughter Kate and Willie in a period in which she went through a rough time. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of a satcom's viewing audience was difficult. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson was raised within the world of travel as her father was a travelling salesman. Before turning 10 the actress had been living within New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea got her agent while in San Diego, where she was the first to win a part for which she attempted to audition for. Fusco said that ALF was 285 years old and could be a drinker. As ALF started to become becoming more famous, NBC said that Fusco would not be able to continue having ALF drinking beer with the kids. This was not a good role for a role model. Fusco thought ALF could be a drinker even though he was an adult. In 1995, Fusco was diagnosed with lymphoma. This was successfully managed and his condition remained stable until the year 2019. In June of 2019, at age 75, he died of his illness in the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood in New Jersey.
