Sheryl Underwood is a comic, host of a television show, and actor from the United States. She's best known for her work as The Talk's daytime co-host. Born in Arkansas She was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. Sheryl spent the majority of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. As a child, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father due to him getting too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier soon after she graduated her college. But, she was interested in comedy. She was the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV professional career started in 1992 as a actor on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted Oh Drama! Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started appearing on The Talk as co-host. In addition, she has a fictional role on series such Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
