Sheryl underwood is an American actress, comedian and television host best known for her role as the Talk's co-host for daytime. Sheryl was born and raised within Little Rock. Sheryl was raised in one of the most difficult families. She was a troubled child. growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie with the disease of polio. As a teenager, she experienced an uneasy relationship between her parents. Sheryl recalls that her mother had a time when she stabbed her father because he was too close. When she graduated from college Sheryl was a soldier in the military. She was however interested in comedy. It was her first time as a female to make it through the competition in 1989 Miller Lite Comedy Search. Her TV career began in 1992 as a performer for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the TV show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began making appearances for The Talk as co-host. She has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series including Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
